20 Oct Valpolicella wine: simple and versatile, yet elegant
Valpolicella wine is definitely the most versatile wine of the Appellation.
Its moderate alcoholic content, its freshness and its relatively light structure make it easy to pair with many dishes of the local and the national cuisine. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif wine, pairing with many appetizers of the Venetian cuisine, like cold cuts and fish dishes, or it can be the perfect companion to some of the most famous dishes of the Italian cuisine, like pasta and risotto.
Comparing to other Valpolicella wines, this one has a simpler production process, but you need to be very careful and, especially, to use excellent grapes to achieve elegance. That is the genuine elegance only pureness and youthfulness can express.
We prepared this video to explain how the Valpolicella wine si produced. Enjoy!
